17. Export Laws. You must comply with all national and international export laws and regulations that apply to the Software and/or Services, including restrictions on destinations, end users and end use. The Microsoft Services Agreement does not apply to professional products and services, including Microsoft 365 for business, education, or government, Azure, Yammer, or Skype for Business. For security, privacy, compliance, and related information obligations that apply to Microsoft 365 for Business, visit the Microsoft Trust Center at www.microsoft.com/trust-center/product-overview. These License Terms constitute an agreement between you and the publisher of the Application. Please read them. They apply to Software Apps that you download from the Microsoft Store, Windows Store, or Xbox Store (each referred to in these License Terms as the “Store”), including any updates or additions to the App, unless separate terms apply to the App, in which case these Terms apply. We have provided a summary of the most notable changes here. 5. Use of Third Party Applications and Services.
The Services may allow you to access or purchase products, services, websites, links, content, materials, games, skills, integrations, bots, or applications from independent third parties (companies or individuals other than Microsoft) (“Third-Party Apps and Services”). Many of our Services also help you find, request, or interact with third-party applications and services, or allow them to share your content or data, and you understand that by using our Services, you are asking them to provide you with third-party applications and services. Third-party apps and services may allow you to store your content or data with the publisher, provider, or operator of the third-party apps and services. Third-party apps and services may provide you with a privacy policy or ask you to agree to its terms before you can install or use the third-party app or service. See Section 14 .b for additional terms for apps purchased through certain stores owned or operated by Microsoft or its affiliates (including, but not limited to, the Office Store, the Microsoft Store on Xbox, and the Microsoft Store on Windows). You should read the terms of service and privacy policies of third parties before you purchase, use, request, or link your Microsoft account to third-party apps and services. The Third Party Terms do not modify any of these Terms. You are responsible for your dealings with third parties. Microsoft does not license intellectual property to you in connection with third-party applications and services and is not liable to you or others for any information or services provided by third-party applications and services. Microsoft recently informed users of upcoming changes to the Microsoft Services Agreement. Microsoft is making these updates to clarify its terms and ensure that they remain transparent to you, as well as to cover new Microsoft products, services, and features. The new changes to the Microsoft Services Agreement will take effect from October 1 to 20.
1. Your privacy. Your privacy is important to us. Submissions you submit to Microsoft through the Services; and files, photos, documents, audio files, digital works, live streams and videos that you upload, store, stream or share through the Services (“Your Content”). If processing is based on consent and to the extent permitted by law, by agreeing to these Terms, you consent to Microsoft`s collection, use, and disclosure of your content and data as described in the Privacy Statement.
